Cranberry Vanilla Fall Sangria

Perfect for Crisp Autumn Days

There’s something about fall in Wisconsin Dells that calls for a great seasonal cocktail. Crisp air, changing leaves, football weekends, bonfires, and gatherings with friends make it the perfect time to trade those summer drinks for flavors that feel a little more like autumn.

If you’re looking for an easy cocktail to serve at your next fall get-together, Cranberry Vanilla Fall Sangria deserves a spot on the menu!

This recipe combines crisp Pinot Grigio with cranberry, orange, maple and vanilla flavors, then finishes everything with bubbly ginger ale. Add fresh apples, oranges and cranberries, and you have a pitcher that looks every bit as good as it tastes.

Ingredients:

  • 2 bottles Pinot Grigio
  • 3 cups cranberry juice
  • ½ cup orange liqueur
  • ¼ cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups ginger ale
  • Fresh cranberries
  • 1–2 apples, sliced
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • Ice

Directions:

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the Pinot Grigio, cranberry juice, orange liqueur, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cranberries, sliced apples and sliced orange.
  2. Give everything a good stir and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, allowing all those flavors to come together.
  3. When you’re ready to serve, add the chilled ginger ale and gently stir.
  4. Pour over ice, making sure to get some of that delicious sangria-soaked fruit in every glass.

Made for Fall Entertaining

One of the best things about sangria is how easy it is to make for a group. Prepare most of it ahead of time, let it chill, and simply add the ginger ale when your guests arrive.

It’s a great choice for Packers parties, fall get-togethers, bonfires, Thanksgiving celebrations, or a relaxing Wisconsin weekend with friends.
